  1. Rioja Alavesa: As the time passes, the Rioja Alavesa has become one of the main destinations for “wine lovers”. Here you have the chance to enjoy its 50 wine shops, museums and some traditional or modern wineries like Ysios, for the most daring.
  2. Ribera del Duero: This denomination of origin, located between Valladolid, Burgos and Soria, is a secured bet for those interested in tasting one of the country’s most popular wines. Besides the possibility of visiting its many wineries, the region has many activities to offer, such as a visit to the Wine Museum in Peñafiel or the route of the Castles, among many others.

  4. Rías Baixas: In the Galician province of Pontevedra you can find the Albariño grape, and thus its denomination of origin, created 25 years ago. Rias Baixas holds more than 50 wineries as well as a wide variety of activities related to wine tourism. This region is a must, not only for its wines, but for its charming hidden places, people and food culture, in which the “octopus with potatoes” is the clear winner.
  5. Penedés: Inside Catalonia, close to Barcelona and the cozy town of Sitges, you can find Penedes, a wine region that meets the perfect conditions to cultivate the extensive vineyards. Highlight also the wide variety of leisure activities it offers to make your spanish holidays unforgettable.
